Your business details
Registered business name, address, contact numbers and email, tax registration details and the person who will manage the account. Keep a logo file ready if you want branded invoices.
Customer records
For each regular customer: legal or trading name, address, contact person and tax registration where applicable. Clean names now prevent duplicate customers later.
Product and service list
Item names, descriptions, units of measure, standard prices and the tax treatment your advisor has confirmed. A spreadsheet with one row per item is usually enough to import.
How you invoice today
Collect two or three recent sample invoices, your numbering style and any recurring invoices. These show the team what to configure first.
People and permissions
List who prepares invoices, who reviews them and who only needs reports. Accountants managing several clients should note each client separately.
